Registration and Account Set Up
Step 1 - Go to your email
Log into your email provider. Make sure you log into the same email account you provided casting with.
Step 2 - Search for "EPIC Account Activation" within your email
In the top search bar of your email account, search “epic account activation”. If you do not receive a link, first check your spam folder, second, ask the pa on set to verify your email and send you a new email link.
Step 3 - Copy your temporary password, and click "Login" or go to EpicSet.com
1.) Copy the temporary password given to you in your activation email.
2.) Click “Login” or go to epicset.com.
This will take you to your EPIC portal to login with the credentials provided to you in the activation email.
Step 4 - Paste your username and temporary password into the fields shown below
1.) Copy and paste your username. Your username will be your email address.
2.) Copy and paste your password. This is the temporary password provided to you in the activation email.
3.) Click “LOGIN“. You’ll be brought to a page next where you’ll create a new password.
Step 5 - Enter the temporary password and create a new one, entering it twice
1.) From your EPIC activation email, copy the temporary password and paste it in the box that says “Current Password”.
2.) Create a new password
3.) Type in the same NEW password you just created, making sure it matches.
Step 6 - Back in the epic log in page, type in your email (aka username), and your new password you created. If you’re not having issues, jump to step 7.
Having trouble logging in? Why is there a long string of characters in my password field?
Why: Some studios require us to encrypt and create a long string of characters for security purposes. Google Chrome, Safari, and other browsers automatically save your entered password, including this security feature string of long characters.
Solution:
1.) Click on the “username” field. Delete your email and manually type it in again.
2.) Click on the “password” field. Delete your password and manually type it in again.
3.) Click “Login”.
Step 7 - Check your email to collect the "OTP for Login from EPIC"
1.) Go to your email and search for the “OTP” security code.
2.) Copy the OTP code.
3.) Paste the OTP code within the box in EPIC.
4.) Check the “Terms & Conditions” box.
5.) Click “Submit”.
Step 8 - You’re now logged in and brought to your dashboard. Go to "Profile" on left side menu
1.) Immediately go to “Profile” on the left side menu. The menu on a mobile device will be three horizontal bars on top of each other.
Step 9 - Complete your Basic Information
1.) Complete all of your basic information. This will populate on all of your payroll paperwork, including voucher.
Note 1: If you have an apartment #, put it in the “Address” field along with your address.
Note 2: Your physical address is where you live, your mailing address is where you’d like your check mailed to.
2.) Click “Save & Continue”.
Step 10 - Complete your W4

Note: Your personal information will already be pre-populated from your profile section.
1.) Choose either “Single/Married Filing Separately”, “Married Filing Jointly”, or “Head of Household”.
2.) Choose whether or not you’re claiming exemption from withholding. If you are, click “YES” and continue. If you’re not, choose “NO”, and then complete the next steps.
Note: If you choose “NO” in the previous section, and If your total income will be $200,000 or less ($400,000 or less if married filing jointly):
- Multiply the number of qualifying children under age 17 by $2,000
- Multiply the number of other dependents by $500
Step 11 - Complete your Federal I-9 Form
1.) Select citizenship status
2.) Select LIST A or LIST B and LIST C
Note: (If you choose LIST A, you only need to upload one form of ID. If you Choose LIST B, you’ll also need to provide LIST C, and supporting documents for both. (See here for acceptable LIST A, B, C documents along with accompanying pictures)

3.) Choose document type
4.) Enter document #
5.) Enter expiration date of document
6.) Enter issuing authority (example: Social Security card is “SSA”, Passport is “U.S. Dept. of State”, NY Driver’s license can be “NY DMV”. See above link for reference.
7.) Click “Browse” to upload a photo of your ID. PLEASE MAKE SURE the ID you upload is the same ID you entered the information for above. If you’re on a mobile phone, when you click browse you can choose to “take photo”.
8.) Click “I Attest”.
